Because you wanted to see who DK is. Perhaps you were interested in knowing if DK would be suitable as a candidate at your company. Well, that's exactly why I created this website. It's a way for you to learn who I am, and my ways of thinking.

I AM THE GUY...

- who will hug you upon greeting, knowing you've had a difficult year
- who will delight you with a cool, light beer, knowing you're dying to replenish your mind
- who will start a conversation with you, knowing there's a roomful of pain in your heart, aching to burst out
- who will ask you to speak the truth, knowing that you want someone to trust
- who will argue with you for the sake that you love honest and meaningful arguments
- who will say sorry, knowing you want to feel assured that I'm on your side

NO. I'm not a sycophant, a fawner, a flatterer, or a yes-man.

I am YOU.

I am what a product is for a shopping mom. I am what a Porsche is to a 53-year old father of 3 college kids. I am what a job-loss is to a disabled single mother with 4 children. I am what AIDS is to an African infant.

I am IN the situation.

I have not experienced any of these, but this is how I think. And given the right research to support, this is what I hope to do: to dig and communicate the insights that touch the core value of people.

I am an Account Executive at a full-service advertising agency called Cheil USA, part of the Cheil Worldwide network with global offices around the world. I work on multi-billion dollar global brands such as Samsung Electronics and Hankook Tire and have helped deliver some of the most coolest, and successful campaigns.

My global background of living and traveling in numerous countries across many continents has given me a unique ability to discover consumer insights.

(Quick Fact: DK lived in the U.S., Korea, Romania, Argentina, Tunisia, South Africa, and traveled to Italy, Vatican City, Hungary, Bulgaria, Spain, England, France, Libya, Zimbabwe, Canada, The Bahamas, and Germany... And maybe more)

As a firm believer of self-development and self-improvement, I hope to experience new opportunities to grow, develop, and hone my skills and experiences in the field of marketing.

- Speaks fluent English and Korean. And un peu de Francais.
- Was Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
- Is Korean by blood.
- Is a really, really, fast learner.
- Can type 96 WPM on a computer keyboard (a sticky one).
- Has always been the 'advisor' for his family, friends, and acquaintances.
- Cannot snap fingers.
- Detail-oriented like no other (@x2 the speed).
- Plays soccer every Sunday.
- Won a college intra-mural table tennis tournament.
- Can hit over 300 yards with his golf driver.
- Cannot burp.
- Is always curious about how things work (even those not proven).
- Has pride in learning new information from every industry.
- Never buys on-the-shelf computers.
- Broke three computers over the past 4 years trying to over-upgrade his self-built computers.
- Loves cooking, and trying out any kind of food out there.
- Always orders 8 out of 10 when ordering spicy meals.
- Cannot whistle.
- Believes love conquers all (Amor Vincit Omnia).
- Believes all consumers unconsciously believes in the above too.
- Never, ever, gives up.
- Believes there is nothing he cannot do as long as he is alive and tries.

A way to sell a product or service by creating the closest form of relationship with the customer.

WE ARE CONNECTED...

While we may be geographically far apart, we have a connection. You now know my name, and at a little bit about me. Whether we meet in person or not, one day, when I become a person of importance, you will remember me, and say, "aha! I knew he'd succeed!" We can run into each other during a conference, a networking event, business, school, or anywhere else. Or to flip the situation, when you become a world-famous figure, you can mention my name, you can forward my website to other people in an interview, or mention my name on your blog.
